Hitachi Europe

The Information Systems Group (IFG) of Hitachi Europe Ltd is responsible for the promotion and sales of a range of Hitachi IT technologies focused towards security applications. This includes biometrics, secure smart card solutions, systems management software, and radio frequency tagging solutions. 

IFG offers a range of security related solutions including a biometric system based on the award winning Finger Vein Authentication system. This practical and effective technology has several advantages over existing systems. It is secure, resilient to copying (since the veins are beneath the skin), and is highly accurate and fast.

Assuria Limited

Assuria Auditor is a security configuration assurance, vulnerability assessment, change detection and compliance reporting system for enterprise servers. Assuria Auditor measures, manages and enforces security policies across a wide range of operating systems using a host-to-network view of critical systems and servers.

Assuria Auditor assesses host security, detecting and reporting system security weaknesses. Assuria Auditor’s methodology simplifies the creation and enforcement of system security baselines for users, groups, shares, services and critical system files.

Speed-Trap is a provider of software that uses Web 2.0 technology to capture and deliver complete, real-time data on every individual on-line user, customer and prospect, based on detailed analysis of their current and historic on-line behaviour.

Speed-Trap delivers complete on-line user insight and is being used to drive, monitor and measure marketing activity, business processes and real-time content management systems.

The technology is used to monitor key business metrics, to provide operational insight crucial for website design, as well as for online fraud prevention. Speed-Trap extends the power of VigilancePro^® to users of enterprise web applications (and critically, associated back-end databases).
