Overtis signs distribution partnership with RAS Infotech

Value added distributor appointed to meet growing demand for user activity management in the Middle East

GITEX, DUBAI – 17^th October 2010. Overtis, a pioneer of user activity management softwarehas signed a distribution partnership with RAS Infotech Limited, to supply Overtis VigilancePro® software to financial, government and retail organisations in the Middle East.

RAS Infotech was founded in Dubai ten years ago and specialises in providing information security and network management solutions to organisations in the Middle East, Africa and India.

Overtis VigilancePro software provides comprehensive security by managing and monitoring all keyboard and mouse activity on workstations, laptops and servers and linking this activity with CCTV surveillance, biometric access control and door entry systems. This creates an irrefutable audit trail of which employees undertook transactions and who accessed data, and thereby improves an organisation’s ability to comply with government and regulatory requirements to safeguard information and assets.

Under the terms of the agreement, RAS Infotech will work with Overtis to identify new market opportunities for VigilancePro and develop the Overtis channel partnerships in the Middle East.

The partnership is the first to be announced following the appointment of Mike Hibbert as VP emerging markets in September of this year.
