VigilancePro™ monitors all hardware changes on the endpoint and gives organisations total control over the use of all devices, including removable media.

Device control options range from disabling whole device classes (such as modems), to limiting device types to specific manufacturers and models, right down to restricting use to devices with specific serial numbers. USB drives can be assigned to individual users. U3 USB devices and autorun can be allowed or disallowed by device type.

Device management includes the ability to block the use of devices completely, or to allow read-only access. Whatever the policy a full audit trail is available of all device usage - even when mobile PCs are outside of the corporate perimeter and in an offline state disconnected from the network and VigilancePro™ Manager.

Encrypted Vaults – fast, simple and effective
VigilancePro™ Encrypted Vault Manager (EVM) enables users to create highly secure .VPV vault files, similar to compressed (zipped) folders, within a few mouse clicks. Information copied to removable media can be restricted to only .VPV files, ensuring that all data transferred to USB drives or CDs and DVDs is encrypted.

Encrypted Vault Manager provides flexibility with speed and simplicity. There is no need to reformat USB drives or complex importing and exporting of keys. Users can quickly, safely and securely share information with colleagues, as well as with external suppliers and third parties through optional use of pass phrases. VigilancePro™ EVM can be freely distributed to anyone that needs it and is also available as a standalone utility.

Device Control, in combination with the use of integrated agile vaults, reduces the impact of lost and stolen media ensuring that even if a disk or drive falls into the hands of unauthorised inquisitive parties it cannot be read.
